Funeral services for Raymond Bechle, 75, a former Town of Schleswig resident, will be held at 8 tonight at Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel.
Cindy Munger, student pastor at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Kiel, will officiate. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 this evening.
Mr. Bechle died Friday evening at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility, where he had resided for the past eight years.
He was born May 30, 1908, In the Town of Eaton, son of John and Rose Schroeder Bechle. He attended St. Gregory Catholic School in St. Nazianz. Mr. Bechle was employed as a farm laborer on the Frank Bechle farm in the Town of Schleswig.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Anna Stodola of Rockford, Ill. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
