THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, January 8, 1903, page 10, column 2. "Mrs. Henry Boitnott and children arrived here Saturday from Miller, S. D., and will again be at their former home. R. H. Virch came through with their goods and landed at Nevada Monday, from which place they hauled their goods by wagon. It will be remembered that this family went to South Dakota some time ago and that Mr. Boitnott died shortly afterward. They had rented a large farm, but after his death the rest of the family were unable to attend to so much so they gave it up by consent of the proprietor and have returned. Mrs. Boitnott's son will farm the small place where they live and Mr. Virch will probably go on the road again."
