Lillie Alice Angell Stump, daughter of the late John William and Mary Elizabeth (Sloan) Angell, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Friendship South in Roanoke, Virginia.
Left to cherish her memory is her best friend and daughter, Carol Reger; her special son-in-law, Dave Reger; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Boyd Stump, and her son, Randall (Randy) Steven Stump. Additionally, Lillie was predeceased by four brothers, Stuart Angell, Ed Angell, Robert Angell, and John Angell, and one sister, Vivian Viola (Suzie) Wood.
Special thanks go out to her Friendship South Wing 1 Nurses, CNAs, and staff (to many to name).
Visitation will be held from 6 until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Oakey's South Chapel. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Franklin Memorial Park in Rocky Mount, Va. In addition to flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
