Shirley Mae Holliday died Friday, April 23, 2021 at her home in Bentonville. She was born May 28, 1939 in Bentonville to Gilbert Thomas & Dorothy Dean (Mayfield) Lawson. She was married to Donald Wayne Holliday at Central Avenue Baptist Church in Bentonville on June 21, 1955.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; her infant son, Lloyd Wayne Holliday; her daughter, Terri Lynn Buckley; her parents; her 5 sisters Emma Jane Lawson, Geraldine
'Jerry' Scott, Vera Powell, Christine Wolford and Irene Smith; 4 brothers Rev. Jack Lawson, Rev. Julian Lawson, Charles Robert Lawson and Rev. Bill Lawson; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by two sons, Larry (Kimberly) Holliday of Pea Ridge and David (Theresa) Holliday of Bentonville; one daughter, Kelly (David) Sandberg of Rogers; 8 grandsons Chad E. Holliday, Corey Bolain, Lucas Robinson, Nash, Stormy and Colter Holliday, Brandon Woodell and Grayson Sandberg; and 13 great-grandchildren, Jacob Holliday, Kayla Spear; Kiera, Khloe and Dylan Robinson; Anika, Nalea, Kasia, Bella, Axl and Vivian Holliday and Abcdee and Opal Holliday; her brother Jim Lawson of Decatur; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, her sisters-in-law Iva Dean Loper, Sue Rhodes and Geraldine Holliday; one brother-in-law James Holliday and her special long time caregiver.

Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday; April 27, 2021 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Bentonville Cemetery in Bentonville with Pastor Robert Ward.
