Buried 6/12/2021. Francis liked to hunt with his metal detector. Early on he went with his father. He found rings and many old coins. He found a woman's locket with a picture of a man. That locket had been lost for many years. Even after covered up in dirt for years, the photo was still clear. The locket did not have a chain when found. He lost his sister Leona and brothers Don, Paul & Jerry. He had a brother that died in Texas as a 1 year old. His 91 year old sister remains as well as a much younger brother Paul. His Affolter Grandparents and a Uncle moved to Texas where they remained. His parents lived part time in Ohio and part time in Texas. He had siblings born in both states. Francis worked for 32 years as a Press Operator for the Republic Steel Company. His home was in Canton, Ohio.
