T. B. Allison, 71, Succumbs

Thomas B. Allison, 71, died Tuesday at 8 p.m. in his home, three miles east of Chester on state route 2, after several days' illness. He was a lifelong resident of Hancock county. Besides his widow, he leaves four daughters, Mrs. Martha Hallett of East Liverpool, Mrs. Osa Abrams of Calcutta, and Mrs. Callie Allison and Mrs. Edith Herron of Gas Valley, near New Cumberland, W. Va., four sons, Ennis, Wilfred and Garry of Chester and Clyde at home; one sister, Mrs. Rose Jackson, and a brother, John Allison, both of Chester. Twenty - four grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the house, in charge of Rev. G. W. Smucker, pastor of the Chester Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will made in Locust Hill cemetery.
