Private funeral services for Adolph Karbon, 76, of 1330A S. 10th St., Manitowoc, who died Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Sawall will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Karbon was born Jan. 2, 1892, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Herdina Karbon. He attended township schools and was a veteran of World War I. During World War II he was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., and later at Invincible Metal Furniture Co. 17 years, retiring in 1960. He was a member of American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88.

Survivors are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Reuben (Geraldine) Kasbaum and Miss Germaine Karbon, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Richard (Eunice) Vaughan, of North Fond du Lac, two sons, Gordon, of Milwaukee and Allen of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, two sisters, Mrs. Adolph Cherney, of Maribel and Mrs. Mary Kronforst of Mishicot, a brother John, of Denmark, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Two sisters and five brothers preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 7 o'clock this Monday evening.

Memorials may be sent to Bethany Lutheran Church.
