Miss Abbie S. Allen
HUDSON - Miss Abbie S. Allen, 88, of 16 Felton St., died yesterday in the Braemoor Nursing Home, Marlboro, after a long illness.
She was born in Berlin, the daughter of Aden R. and Jennie E. (Clapp) Allen.
Miss Allen retired in 1964 after being employed 57 years as a bookkeeper for the A.T. Knight Fuel Co.
She leaves two nieces, Mrs. Alberta Rich of Hudson and Mrs. Ruth Crossley of Northboro, five nephews, including Walter Allen of this town, and Robert Heath of Boston, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and several great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews.
Private graveside services will be held this morning at Forestvale Cemetery. The Rev. J. Donald Johnson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate.
