PRINCETON-Funeral services will be held today for Elmer H. Rice, 48, chauffeur for the late Harry Bowen of Bramwell, for a number of years, who died in McMillan Hospital, Charleston, on Friday, June 5, 1942, will be conducted at the Kee Street Methodist Church at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon by the Rev. W.R. Smith, Jr., pastor of the Presbyterian Church and the Rev. Owen E. Mercer, Kee Street pastor.
Burial will be in Monte Vista Cemetery. Cousins will serve as flower bearers and the pallbearers will be: Herman Hill, Ray Hill, Al Johnson, W.D. Rice, Alec Shelton, Howard Rice, and Frank Shelton.
Mr. Rice born April 27, 1894 in Princeton, W.V., leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Rice of Princeton and two brothers, Frank Rice of Camp Crowder, Mo. And Edwin Rice of Belle, W.V.
