Shirley Jean Ruot, affectionately known as "Gma" died September 28, 2021 in Mesa, Az. with her immediate family at her side. She was born to Espher and Maxine Owens on June 14, 1939 in Bingham, Il. and had 3 children with Darwin (Burr) Lynn Ruot: Kevin, Jodi and Chris.

Gma lived a selfless life, sacrificing much for her loved ones, was always overjoyed to see you, and will be remembered as someone you could count on to be there for you. She especially enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren and passed with many fond memories of their special times together.

Gma is survived by her daughter and son, Jodi and Chris, her daughter in-law, Jill, and her grandchildren Amber, Brian and Starly. She will be greatly missed by many but we can all take comfort knowing she is with God.

She asked that no services be held but for her ashes to be spread over a mountain and her husband Darwin's grave.
