Beverly Joyce Hays, 62, of Pana, died at 5:31 p.m., Fri­day, Jan. 2,2004 in her home.
Final rites will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Twin Pines Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday until the hour of ser­vice.
Beverly was born July 6, 1941 in Bingham, the daugh­ter of Charles and Maxine McCart Owens. She was a bookkeeper at Pana Bait for 14 years; and had also worked for the Green Thumb Pro­gram. She had lived in Pana for most of her life and loved to crochet and read; and was a past member of Pana Eagles Club.
Surviving are children, Kelly McMillan and wife Regi of Pana and Yvette Danielle Hays and fiance George Allen of Nokomis; mother and step­father, Maxine Gibson and the Rev. Lawrence Gibson of Pana; brothers and sisters, Chuck Owens, Shirley Ruot, Pat Lash, Dixie Fox, Don Alien, Larry Gibson, Billy Joe Gibson, Debbie Harmston, Jackie Kay, Phyllis Rowden, Gary Owens, Bill Owens and Danny Owens; and four grandchildren, Jonathon Puckett, Sarah McMillen, Megan Hays and George Alien III.
She was preceded in death by her father; son, William "Bill" Ross McMillan Jr.; two brothers, Brian Gibson and David Owens.
