Blanche L. Fisher, daughter of Joseph and Rose Shebel Blecha, was born December 22, 1906, at Munden, Kansas, and died February 19, 1998, at the Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas, at the age of 91 years, one month and 27 days.

She received her education in the public schools and graduated from Munden High School. She was a homemaker. She was united in marriage to Milek Fisher on May 18, 1927 and to this union one son was born.

She was a member of the Charity Rebekah Lodge No. 76 of Belleville, Kansas, charter member of the Homemakers Club and B.B. Club of Cuba, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Milek, and two brothers, Lional Blecha and Rudy Blecha. She is survived by a son, Lester Dean Fisher of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 1998, at the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, Kansas, with Rev. Bob Haseltine officiating. Interment was made in Tabor Cemetery, Munden, Kansas.
