Eli Asa Brandon, a resident of Manson, passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. Griffith, October 26.
The deceased was born at Brandon's Ferry, Venango Co, Pennsylvania, October 15, 1861. In October 1879 he came with his parents to Kansas and the following year moved to Nebraska, where he met and married Miss Alice Cooly. To this union were born seven children: Charles, Trinidad, Colo; Harry and Floyd, Bend, Ore; Clyde, of Seattle; Bert, of Manson. One little babe preceded him in death.
His wife passed away in Seattle, August 11, 1914.
The deceased leaves to mourn his passing, six sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Ida Coulter, Mt. Jewett, Pa., Mrs. Charles Dunning, and Mrs. Maude Frantz, Edgar, Neb.; Mrs. Will Hill, Centerville, Kan.; Mrs. R. E. Isbell, Philipsburg, Kan.; Charles, New Mexico; Will, Arizona; J. K. Brandon and Mrs. W. N. Griffith, Manson.
