She was born December 11, 1910, the daughter of Henry and Ida Lovely.
On June 11, 1928 in Eureka, Kansas, she married Raymond Simmons. He preceded her in death February 18, 1991.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Grace is survived by one son, Dale Simmons of Fredonia, KS; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Huey; three sisters, Bertha, Flora, and Mary; two sons, James and Donald; two daughters, Joyce Simmons and Doris Evenson.
Funeral services will be February 4, 2008 at the Southern Baptist Church in Fredonia, Kansas, with Pastor Casey Borger officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name with Fredonia Hometown Health Care and Hometown Hospice.
