Mrs. Powell's maiden name was Susie Coon and she was the daughter of the late Reuben Coon. She was born in this city March 14, 1861, and was married to Mr. Powell in 1882.
After spending several years in Kansas, they returned to this city about four years ago.
She is survived by her husband and four young children, the youngest a babe but a few days old.
