Mildred Hull, 97, of Waynesboro, PA formerly of York, PA passed away Thursday October 20, 2022 at Cross Keys Brethren Home.

Millie was the daughter of the late Robert C. Ness and Mary Strickler Ness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Hull and her siblings Wilson Ness, Elmer Ness, Anna Ness Snyder, and Robert Ness, Jr.

Millie had a great love for her nieces and nephews. Those survived by her are Patricia Ness Smith, Brenda Ness Peters, Robert Ness, Elmer "Chip" Hull, Allan Hull, David Hull, Sue Jackson and Steve Hull. Those preceding her in death are Linda Freeman, Rojenes Meekins, Lynda Schleeter and Randy Ness.

Millie is a graduate of William Penn High School in York, PA. She then worked as office manager at G.C. Murphy's in York. She married Perry Hull of Waynesboro at the Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary in 1951. They moved to Waynesboro where she worked for Hull's dairy as a receptionist and bookkeeper. She later worked for Potomac Farms and Shenandoah's Pride Dairy. She was a former member of the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.

Millie and her husband traveled extensively throughout the United States. She was an avid collector of dolls and became known to their artists.

A Memorial Service will bel held on Monday, October 31 at the Nicarry Meetinghouse on the campus of the Brethren Home Community at Cross Keys Village, New Oxford, PA at 10:30am. Burial will be at the Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro, PA Monday, October 31st at 1:00 PM
