Dolly was born on August 26, 1931, in Hayward, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Wilma (Blake) Boyle. She graduated with the class of 1949 from Hayward High School. Dolly then attended Minneapolis Business College.
On November 3, 1951, she married William A. "Bill" Balzer at the home of Harry and Sylvia Breger. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2016.
Dolly was a member of Faith Free Church.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law: Judy (Clary) Poklinkoski, TN, Ann Balzer, Oslo, Norway, Sue (Scott) Ostrenga, Green Bay; one granddaughter: Amy (Frank) Dockins, TN; one great granddaughter: Adalynn Dockins, TN; one brother and three sisters-in-law: James (Shirley) Boyle, Hayward, Marion Boyle, Hayward, Patricia Boyle, Hayward, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Wilma Boyle; her husband: Bill Balzer; one sister: Alberta Boylan, two brothers: John Boyle, Patrick Boyle; one brother-in-law: Marshall Boylan.
