Louise "Loris" LeJune, 99, passed away August 27, 2017 in Oberlin, Louisiana. Loris was born May 17, 1918 in Eunice, Louisiana to Oscar Courville and Emma (Leger) Courville.
She was devoted Catholic and member of Our Lady Seven Dolors Catholic Church of Welsh.
Loris is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, David LeJune; parents, Oscar and Emma Courville; brothers, Henry, Morris, Tony, Wilson, A.J. and Nelson Courville and sisters, Lelia Manuel and Rose Meche.
Loris is survived by her son, Edward LeJune and wife Ada of Oberlin, LA; brother, George Courville and wife Sue of Jennings, LA; sister, Laura Abshire of Jennings, LA; sister-in-law, Ruby Courville of Opelousas, LA and granddaughter, Sharon Flynn and husband Ronnie of Oberlin, LA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Visitation will be held Monday, August 28 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until the service time.
