Inscription

Civil War; There is a verse on the grave marker that is very difficult to read as it has suffered the elements of time: Go to thy rest in peace; And soft be thy repose; Thou toils are o'er thy troubles cease: From earthly cares and sweet release; From earthly cares and my sweet release; Thine eyelid gently close.
