A very special thank you to Wings~of~Grace for sponsering dads memorial, ♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧John Drury my dad pre deceased by his wife of 62 years Eileen daughters Mars and Ann-Marie, John grew up with his family 2 brothers and 2 sisters in a lovely seaside town, in 1959 he move to England to work, he met and married his beloved Eileen in 1960, they were to have 5 daughters, they returned to Ireland to raise his youngest brother in 1964 when both his parents died within weeks of each other, Dad was a big man full of life he was into his Irish sports, he adored his 5 five girls, we were raised knowing a wonderful dad that loved us to his last breath, he was always there for us, he adored all his grand kids he loved spending time with them, it was rare to see him and mom apart, their marriage lasted 62 happy years, the home was full of fun and laughter, They lived for those they loved those they love will remember them,

His funeral was a sight to see, the colour party escorting the hearse, the flag draped coffin, the speeches in your honor and the music at the grave site, the amount people that attended , there were many broken hearts, you were a big man that left a big impression on many lives, We love and miss him every day,

The headstone was designed and made by Noreen O Reilly his daughter and her family who are stone masons working in headstones for 8 generations,
