Dolores M. Smith, 93, of New Oxford, PA, entered God's eternal care, Friday, June 16, 2023, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born January 13, 1930, in New Oxford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul F. Noel and the late Emma C. (Shrader) Livingston, and the step daughter of the late John Livingston. Dolores was the loving wife of the late Donald R. Smith with whom she shared 62 years of marriage until his passing on November 7, 2015.

Dolores graduated from Delone Catholic High School in 1948 and received her RN from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Baltimore, MD, in 1951. She was a homemaker and a nurse, retiring in 1992.

Dolores was a member of Sacred Heart Basilica, Hanover, PA.

Dolores enjoyed crocheting, baking, going on bus trips, going to yard sales, doing puzzles, and watching birds and flowers.

Dolores is survived by her children, Keith R. Smith of Hanover, PA, Karen A. Young of Williamsburg, VA, Kerry F. Smith of Williamsburg, VA, Kathryn R. Mussleman of Hanover, PA, Karolyn M. Anthony of Hanover, PA, Kraig A. Smith of Hanover, PA, Kevin D. Smith of Hanover, PA, Kris M. Smith of Hanover, PA, and Kenneth J. Smith of Hanover, PA; eighteen grandchildren; 32 great great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary Noel of Thomasville, PA; and three sisters, Constance Pitzoli of New Oxford, PA, and Victoria Gladhill of Littlestown, PA, and Christine Remestad. She was preceded in death by five brothers, David Noel, Frederick Noel, Donald Noel, Michael Noel, and Wilbur Noel; and two grandsons, K. Benjamin Smith and Jeremy D. Smith.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate and remember Dolores will be held 10 AM, Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Drive, Hanover, PA, with Father Dwight Schlaline and Father Lawrence McNeil as concelebrants. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
