born on 30 June/31 October 1784...some sources gave dob as 1794 and 1799,
but most gave the 1784 date. His tombstone in St. Peter's United Church
of Christ Cemetery in Spring Township, Perry Count...gave his date of
death as 1 Sep 1850, age 65 years, ten months and one day [would make his
dob 31 October 1784]...on 9 May 1813, David married Susannah
Sullenberger...printed in the Reading Adler newspaper: David
Dunkelberger of Windsor [York Co -married] to Suzanne Shollenberger of
Hamburg [Berks Co]...David's will was dated in 1850...was living on a 13
acre lot...owned a tract of land in Colerain Township, Delaware Co, Ohio
which was to go to his three sons: David, Jeremiah, and William...

The Seventh Annual Dunkelberger Reunion will be held at Warm Springs, Saturday, August 13. In addition to the many interesting features of the day there will be a game of ball, and a band will be present. There will also be vocal and instrumentalmusic as well as speaking. Everyone is welcome.
