Died
In Perry County. on the 5th inst., JOHN DUNKELBERGER, aged 81 years, 1 month and 26 days. Father D. emigrated to that county from Windsor Tp, Berks Co, in the year 1814, and dies on the farm where he settled 43 years ago. He was anm honest man, a good citizen, an obliging neighbor, a a kind and affectionate father, and a consistant member of the Enangelical Lutheran Church.

Jeremiah & Joseph Dunkelberger elected to building committee and had the corner stone laying ceremony o 19 Sep 1857
Jeremiah Dunkelberger was a Trustree
31May 1858 Jeremiah, Solomon, Joseph, Samuel, & Jonathan Dunkelberger signed a note to have the new Mt Zion Luth Ch and the older St Peters German Reformed Ch alternate Sunday services, since family members attend the two different churches.
24 Nov 1887, D B Dunkelberger, administrator of estate of Jeremiah Dunkelberger dec'd, settled with church on the last two additions to the grave yard, hitching place, and walk
18 Feb 1888, heirs agreed to donate 4 of the 5 shares of the Jeremiah Dunkelberger dec'd estate claim heirs were paid $48.17 due for the hitching grounds and cemetery and D B Dunkelberger received $20.00 for the hitching grounds
