Clinton DAVIS, 65, died suddenly Jan. 24 at his home in Oskaloosa. He was an employee of the Jefferson County highway department and a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys, of the home; one daughter, Bessie Louise DAVIS of Washington, D.C., two sons, Bennie of Kansas City, Kan., and Orville of Onida, S.D.; three brothers, Geo. of Topeka; Odell of Oskaloosa and Fred of San Antonio, Texas; and two sisters, Eva DAVIS of Oskaloosa and Hila SKINNER of Glenwood, Iowa.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Methodist Church at Oskaloosa. The American Legion conducted graveside services in the Pleasant View Cemetery at Oskaloosa.
