Barbara was a homemaker. She taught her children early in life to not use the "B" word, meaning bored, as she would find them something to do. She was everything flowers with a green thumb to grow anything. She was a Christian and a daily bible reader. To know her was to love her.
She leaves behind her husband of 48 years: Ronnie Poston of Allons, TN; one daughter: Christy (Randal) of Allons; a son: Douglas (Lisa) Poston of Cookeville; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two sisters: Marie Looper and Brenda (James) Matthews; and a brother Rev. Randall Hoover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Marrison Hoover and Lonnie "Jr." Hoover; and infant sisters: Ethel and Judy Ann Hoover.
Celebration of Life Services were conducted on Tuesday, August 15th from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Gibbons officiating.
