Mrs. Angela Barbette, 63, 811 Mill St., Avoca, was pronounced dead on arrival Monday at 7:55 p.m. at Community Medical Center, Scranton after suffering an apparent heart attack. She was the widow of Sam Barbette, who died in 1960.
Born in Dupont, daughter of the late John and Josephine Chaump DeLuca, she attended the Dupont public schools. She resided in Avoca the past 25 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston.
Surviving are four sons and four daughters; a brother, Americus DeLuca, Trenton, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Carfora, Pittston, and Mrs. Alma Swanek, Dupont; 13 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Burial, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
