Hazel Eudora Needham Ray had a long, happy and amazing life. Growing up as a Texas farm girl with 3 younger brothers, she had literally no possessions; but her family instilled in her values that she lived by the rest of her life.
"A special thank-you to Mother and Dad for being the best of role models. Through them I was exposed to caring, loving, respect, appreciation, the work ethic, happiness, self-confidence, to be self-sufficient, to work with others, to do my best, to be creative, to cope with and solve problems, to stick to a job, to look to the future, to be conscientious, to take care of what I have, to live within my means and to take charge of my life."
- Her own words in her autobiography.
