Albemarle County authorities today were awaiting a coroner's report in the death of Walter Price, , of 1715 Cynthiana Avenue, whose body was found Wednesday morning beneath a culvert on Route 250. just east of the Mechums River bridge.
Investigation at the time indicated no evidence of foul play, Sheriff J. Mason Smith said, but the exact cause of death will not be known until a complete pathologist's report is available.
Funeral services for Price were to be held a 2 p.m. today from the Preddy Funeral Home with burial at Rock Gate Cemetery, Crozet.
