Services for Frances Louise Mormino, 82, of Lubbock and formerly of Fort Worth will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, in Laural Land's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Warren Murphy, T.O.R., officiating. Burial will follow in the Laural Land Cemetery. Viewing will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday evening at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Local arrangements are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy.

Mrs. Mormino died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, in Lubbock.

She was born Sept. 1, 1926, in Charlottesville, Va., where she was raised. She met her husband, Frank Joseph Mormino, and they were married April 6, 1945, in Hanover, Va. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1985. They resided in Waco until moving to Fort Worth in 1953. They were longtime members of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Ft. Worth.

She is survived by five children, Frank J. Mormino, Jr., Beverly Sadler and husband George, Larry J. Mormino and wife Regina, Mary Anne Cook and husband John and Cary Mormino; five grandchildren, Sam Scribner, Steve Trojacek, Scott Trojacek, Bill Scribner and Lisa Mormino; and three great-grandchildren.
