Funeral for Clara Kitchens Hendrix, 84, of Decatur will be tonight at 7:30 at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert R. Slack Jr. officiating.
Graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 until 7:30 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hendrix died Saturday, June 22, 1996, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. She was born June 13, 1912, in Lawrence County. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church and a member and past Worthy Matron of the Mary Lou Dancy chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Larry Hendrix of Portland, Ore; two daughters, Faye Terry of Decatur and Sue Carullo of Merritt Island, Fla; three sisters, Mamie Privett of Decatur and Pearlie Montgomery and Juanita Clark, both of Moulton; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Masons will be pallbearers.
