LAURINBURG -- Ray Bowman McCallum, 68, of 23501 Seals Road died Monday in Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
Mr. McCallum worked as a farmer for Evans Brothers Farms for 32 years before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium chapel by the Rev. James Chavis. Burial will be in the McGirt family cemetery.
Mr. McCallum is survived by his wife, Pearl T. McCallum of the home; three daughters, Diane Locklear of Laurinburg, Shirley Chavis of Maxton and Donna F. McCallum of the home; three sons, Billy R. McCallum of Maxton, Donald McCallum of Wagram and Jody McCallum of Laurel Hill; three brothers, Harry McCallum, Roy McCallum and Bunk McCallum, all of Laurinburg; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
