JOHN SYLVESTER KAILING

The funeral services of John Sylvester Kailing, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Kailing of Richmond Township, were held at St. Philip's Church in Reed City, Michigan, Saturday morning. Burial took place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

John Sylvester was twelve years old. He had been suffering with epilepsy for over ten years, having been taken with it when he was two years old. He died Thursday morning at three o'clock following a serious attack of the paroxysms characteristic of the disease.

John Sylvester was survived by ten brothers and sisters. He was the second in the family of twelve to pass the great divide.
