Mrs. Belle Bevans Services Monday
Belle Minnie Bevans, a daughter of the pioneer family of John and Anne Busch of Potter Valley, died in Ukiah Saturday at the age of 88. She was born at Potter Valley April 12, 1870, and her life was lived in the valley of her birth. The Busch family was large and influential and all made their homes in the valley in the early days. She was the widow of Watt Bevans.
Funeral services from the Eversole Mortuary were held this afternoon with the Rev. Ralph Fellersen, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Interment was in the Potter Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Bevans is survived by a brother and sister, A. F. Busch of Placerville and Mrs. Frances Holbrook of Crescent City, and many nephews and nieces.
