POTTER VALLEY—Frances Holbrook, better known to old time friends as "Fanny," died in Crescent City Jan. 12 at the age of 92. She leaves two daughters, Nina Carlen and Helene Harrison, and one son, Everett Holbrook, all of Crescent City; one granddaughter, Jean LeGasse, Honolulu, Hawaii; one grandson, Peter Holbrook, Crescent City. There is one great-granddaughter, Christine LeGasse, Lansing, Mich.
Services were held in Crescent City Jan. 14 followed by cremation. Final rites will be held in Ukiah cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Holbrook was a member of the old time Busch family whose home was the former Todd ranch. She was a sister of the late Belle Bevans.
