Marian Florence Beath, 85, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Monday morning, August 21, 2000, in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born January 22, 1915 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Pearl and Blanche Davis Thatcher.

Her husband, Jack Hutchison, preceded her in death in 1978. On September 30, 1984, she married Homer W. Beath, who survives.

Also surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela (Gary) Turley and Denise (Monte) Queen; stepdaughter, Virginia Beath; stepson, Michael Beath; grandchildren, Chad, Amanda, Shelly, and Carey; step-grandchild, Steve; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Stauderman and Bernice Deputy; and a brother and sister-in-law, Harold (Helen) Thatcher.

Her parents, and a brother, Robert Thatcher, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Beath was an employee of U. S. Shoe, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Ross
County Senior Citizens.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home, with Rev. Fred Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
