Henry Harrison Cissell was born on October 1, 1877 to Lewis and Belle (Tomkins) Cissell. He was one of eleven children; Ege, Victoria, Agustus S., Ellen, Iona, Ralph, Nancy, Mary P., Catherine, and Francis L. Cissell. He married Sadie Lee Dimmitt and from this union seven children were born; Theodore W. Cissell, Florence E. Cissell, Elvia G. (Cissell) Williams, Louis Edward Cissell, Marshall W. Cissell, Clinton D. Cissell, and Sadie H. (Cissell) Ratliff. Henry past away on September 14, 1934 at the age of 56 and was laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.
