Hepzibah was born on January 19, 1712 in Windsor, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Cornelius Brown & Abigail Barber. On January 10, 1740 she married Ebenezer Burr in Wintonbury, Connecticut. His parents had settled in Farmington just before his birth. Ebenezer & Hepzibah had seven children, all born in Wintonbury. Some time after 1740, Ebenezer & Hepzibah removed to Norfolk, Connecticut, where they were some of the earliest settlers. Hepsibah died on July 13, 1772, and is buried with her husband in the Center Cemetery in Norfolk.
