Mrs. Percy M. Burke
Mrs. Marie E. Burke, 76, of 231 E. Main St., Westminster, died Tuesday morning at Long View Nursing Home. Manchester, following a brief illness.
Born in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Bruest Mullican. Her husband. Percy M Burke, died in 1976. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy B. Jescke of Nokomis, Canada; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Murray, Mrs. Cora Fawley and Mrs. Catherine Wallace, all of Frederick; two granddaughters.
The funeral will be held Friday at 10 a. m. from the Thomas D. Fletcher and Son Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. The Rev. Gilbert J. Bartholomew, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Her pallbearers will be Eric Jescke, Wayne Lockard, Steven Sinnott, William Sinnott, Herbert Gist and Frank Beck.
