MRS. MARY BROWN, 92, DIES; FUNERAL AT UNION CHAPEL
Mrs. Mary N. Brown, 92, died at 6:35 o'clock last night in Whitaker Hospital, where she had been a patient four years. Mrs. Brown had lived with her daughter, Mrs. W. L. Cavanaugh, 312 North Ault street, since the death 21 1/2 years ago of her husband, John Frank Brown.
Born at Jacksonville, Mrs. Brown lived near the Brush Creek community until she came to Moberly.
Besides the daughter here, she is survived by five sons, Sam Brown, Gothenburg, Neb., Finis and Orb Brown, Clifton Hill, Onie Brown, Callao, and John Brown, Auburn, Wash.; and by 35 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The body will be in the Skinner Home for Funerals at Macon until Saturday afternoon. It will lie in state in Union Chapel Church, southwest of College Mound, until funeral services there at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
