Daisy East Buckner of Radford, age 87, died Saturday in a Pulaski hospital.

Surviving are three sons, Sherman P. Buckner and Cleveland J. Buckner, both of Radford, and Bury] S. Buckner of Belspring; six daughters. Hesha Shelton and Kathleen Dishon, both of Hiwassee, Pearl Smith of Radford. Alice Ratciiffe of Lebanon, Bertha Crane of Dublin and Claudine Tolliver of Bel Air, Md.; 43 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held today at the Corner View Pentecostal Holiness Church and was officiated by the Rev. Elmer Shelton and the Rev. Donald Linkous. Burial followed in Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements were made through DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
