Mrs. Mary E. Duggan, 90, died Monday, August 18, after an illness of three weeks. She was born in Paulding County, Ohio, on October 26, 1867, and had been a resident of Gladwin County since 1903. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rhoda Whitman, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Helen Ockerman, of Mt. Morris; one son, Leroy Bingham, of Bay City; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A son Ray preceded her in death in 1940.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Burdette Faulk will officiate and burial will be in Grout cemetery. Mrs. Duggan, for many years, was a correspondent for the Record. Gladwin County Record dated 08-20/1958 Column - 5 Page - 1
