Parents were Henry Morgan Tomlinson and Priscilla Estalline Gum. Married to W K Kirkpatrick on 02-22-1883 in McPherson, Kansas. Belonged to the Church of the First Born.
"Flora Eunice Tomlinson, daughter of Henry M. and Priscilla E. Tomlinson, was born April 25, 1871 at Monterey, Virginia. Died January 27, 1943 at her home near Fay, Okla., at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 2 days. She moved to Conway, Kansas in 1884. She was united in marriage to W.F. Kirkpatrick on February 22, 1884 at McPherson, Kansas. He preceded her in death. To this union four children were born, William Whitefeild of Hydro, Mrs. Alta Hafer of Hydro, Hubert Clay of Fay and Myron, who died in infancy.
"She came to Oklahoma in 1896 and resided here until her death. She was adopted into the Church of the First Born in 1899.
"She leaves to mourn besides her three children one sister, Mrs. J.L. Spain of Custer City, also ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren besides many other relatives and a host of friends."
Following the funeral discourse, the remains were taken to Liberty cemetery and laid to rest to await the resurrection morning.
Fred M. Perry, sr., mortician for Lockstone Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
