He was born in St. Francisville on July 22, 1923, son of William L. and Matilda Pinnick Emmons. He was a construction superintendent for Western Precipitation Co. and a W.W. II veteran.
Surviving are his father, William L. Emmons, St. Francisville; his widow, Carol Ann McElroy Emmons, Red Bud; four sons, Jack Emmons of Lawrenceville, Kerry, a resident of Germany, and Timothy of St. Francisville; four daughters, Virginia Emmons of St. Francisville; Rebecca and Rowetia Emmons, both at home, and Carla of Red Bud; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Shroyer of Martinsville, Ind,; Mrs. Dolly Kendall of St. Francisville and Mrs. Karen Glosser, an Illinois resident; three brothers, Arnold and Frank Emmons of St. Francisville and Kenneth Emmons of Olney; and two grandchildren.
