FORT KENT - Caroline C. Michaud, 89, beloved wife of the late John Michaud, died June 6, 2004, at a Van Buren healthcare facility. She was born Sept. 5, 1914, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Henry and Julie (Dufour) Charette. She was a member of RSVP. She was predeceased by her husband in 1983; two brothers, Toussaint Charette and Adelard Charette; and two sisters, Marie Regina Pelletier and Olive Michaud. She is survived by two brothers, Elie Charette of Rockville, Conn., and Leo Paul Charette of Presque Isle; one sister, Leona Bard of Broad Brook, Conn.; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3 p.m. Thursday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
