Wife of Billy RayMrs. Geneva (Armstrong) Dismukes, of Mansfield, Arkansas, died Sunday, January 16, 2011, at St. Edwards Mercy Medical Center, in Fort Smith, Arkansas from injuries she sustained from a car accident the week before. Ms. Dismukes was 86 years, 9 months, and 23 days old. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ethel Armstrong.
Ms. Dismukes was a faithful member of the 1st Baptist Church of Mansfield; a homemaker and an excellent (retired) Kindergarten teacher, at Mansfield Elementary School.

Ms. Dismukes was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 3 sisters: Cleo Bandy, Pauline Woods and Leigh Maass; and 1 brother: Dr. Wade Armstrong.
She is survived by three daughters: Judith Ballard and husband John of Joplin, Missouri, Jan Jones of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Carolyn Book and husband Ronald of Tyrone, Georgia; seven grandchildren: Mark Ripley, Christine Conner, Sara Dismukes, Rich, Jonathan Book, Jason Book, Angela Sikorski and Lara Whitaker; other relatives; and many, many former students, colleagues; church families and other friends.
