Gladys P. McFarland, 92, of Farmington, passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, in Farmington. She was born Aug. 20, 1916, in Missouri, to Frank and Elsie Buffington.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Dee C. McFarland; sons, Jack, Tommy and Rodger McFarland; brother, George Buffington; and sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Zeb Vinger and Hazel Allen.
She is survived by two sons, Donald and Gary McFarland; two brothers, Ray and Glen Buffington; and sisters, Belle Ivey, Alliene Neeley and Shirley Diedrick; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Gladys will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Chapel, with Pastor Steve Carrington officiating.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St., in Farmington.
