Augusta first married Dr. James Paddock of Sturbridge, MA on November 14, 1796 in Craftsbury. They lived in Craftsbury until he died in 1809. They had 2 children: James Augustus and William Ebenezer.
A year and 1/2 after Dr. Paddock's death, she married Dr. Ephraim Brewster of Danville, VT, in Sept. of 1811. He held the office of surgeon in the US Army and in passing from Burlington to Plattsburg in the fall of 1812, was drowned in Lake Champlain. They had one child, Ephraim Brewster, Jr. (also became a physician).
Three years later she married Benjamin Clark of Craftsbury, December 7, 1815. Twenty-three years later he died and for 23 more years she was revered and loved by a wide circle of friends and relatives, until her death.
She and Benjamin had one child: Horace B. Clark, born in 1816 and died "soon".
