The death of Samuel Beer, age 80 years and one of the oldest residents of the county, occurred at his home in Camp Point township, yesterday morning at 8 o'clock from asthma. Mr. Beer had been ill for some time, but his condition was not considered critical until recently, when his family realized, that owing to his extreme age, he could not longer endure the affliction. Floyd Adair, of Mendon, a nephew of the deceased is attending school in this city and John Beer, another nephew, received notice of the death yesterday, by telephone.
