He was a son of the late William and Emma McKnight Runyon.
Mr. Runyon was a retired farmer and a member of the Olive Branch Methodist Church.
He was married to Jo Curtis on Nov. 28, 1928.
Surviving are his wife; three children, Miss Virginia Runyon of Olney, Mrs. Catherine Pike of Lexington, Ky., and Cecil L. Runyon of Peoria; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, William of Calhoun, and Frank of Olney.
Services will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Marshall Funeral Home, with Rev. Glen Means officiating.
Interment will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home,
