Mrs. Sarah Ella Farran was killed Tuesday, January 8, 1974, in a two-car accident on an icy road west of Lawrenceville, IL. The report of the accident was in a local paper dated 1-9-1974.

. Mrs. Farran, born in Richland County, was the daughter of William Runyon and Sarah Knight Runyon. She was married to William Farran in August, 1918. He died January 11, 1971.
. Surviving her are a daughter, Inez Todd, Rt. 4, Olney, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a brother, William Runyon of Calhoun.
. Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Farran at 2 p.m. Friday at the Memorial Chapel of Summers-Marshall Funeral Home in Olney.
. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday. Brother Lyle Berry will administer the services.
. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg.
